The ESD AB-31741 safety slipper from ABEBA combines functionality and comfort for industrial use. This unisex model from the uni6 series is available in black and covers sizes 35 to 48. The microfiber surface and the breathable lining treated with silver ions ensure hygiene and durability. A special feature is the steel toe cap, which protects the toe area, while the slip-resistant TPU outsole provides excellent traction. The shoes meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S2, SRC, making them a safe choice for work environments where electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a risk. Additionally, the insoles are replaceable and can be orthopedically adjusted according to DGUV 112-191, which enhances wearing comfort. The shoe weight is only 480 g for size 42, and the shoes are washable up to 30 °C, which facilitates care. With these features, the safety slippers are ideal for professionals who need both protection and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S2
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area and a fuel-resistant sole.
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
HACCP-compliant
The quality feature HACCP (HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS) can be used to identify, evaluate and eliminate significant health hazards from food. Through this quality assurance, Abeba ensures the exclusion of materials that are susceptible to bacterial foci.
