The ESD AB-31628 safety shoe from ABEBA is a highly functional lace-up shoe from the uni6 series, characterized by its breathable textile upper and a water-repellent coating. This low shoe is equipped with a sturdy steel toe cap and offers optimal protection according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011, Class S3. Particularly noteworthy is the TPU outsole, which is oil and gasoline resistant, and ensures maximum safety through flex zones and SRC-certified slip resistance. The lining, enriched with silver ions, ensures effective moisture absorption and provides a hygienic environment. The shoe is available in sizes 35 to 48 and is specifically designed for use in ESD-protected areas. The insole is replaceable and supports orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. For ease of care, the shoe is washable at 30°C. Weighing 600 grams in size 42 and featuring a unisex design, this safety shoe combines functionality with wearing comfort for professional use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
