The safety shoe ESD AB-31629 from ABEBA is a highly functional lace-up shoe, distinguished by its breathable textile upper and available in white. This model offers a high level of safety thanks to the integrated steel toe cap and metal-free puncture-resistant protection, complying with standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345:2011, S3, and SRC. The TPU outsole is oil and petrol resistant as well as slip-resistant, making the shoe particularly suitable for work environments with high slip-resistance requirements. The functionality is enhanced by flex zones that allow for optimal mobility. The lining is treated with silver ions, which has a moisture-absorbing effect and thus ensures a comfortable foot climate. The insole of the safety shoe is replaceable and can be orthopedically adjusted according to DGUV 112-191, which further increases wearing comfort. Available in sizes 35 to 48, this unisex half-shoe offers versatile applications in various work areas.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
