Safety sandal Pit ESD
The Pit ESD safety sandal from BAAK is a highly functional choice for safety footwear, specifically designed for use in industrial environments. This sandal combines robust cow suede leather with mesh inserts in blue and gray, not only providing breathability but also an attractive appearance. The size 49-50 ensures a good fit for larger feet.
The shoes are equipped with a steel toe cap and a textile puncture-resistant layer, qualifying them according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC for safety shoes. The SRC-certified PU outsole offers excellent slip resistance, while the PU midsole provides additional comfort. A quick-release mechanism and separate laces allow for a customizable and secure fit.
Reflective applications enhance visibility and safety. The sandals are also suitable for use with orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, and the Baak Softstep insole is replaceable. This model is being phased out, but alternatives like BA-72112 or BA-8424 are available.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
