Safety shoe Sam ESD
The safety shoe Sam ESD from the "BAAK Street" series combines modern design with the highest level of protection. This low shoe is made of water-resistant nylon and features a composite toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer, making it especially lightweight. The shoe is available in black and covers sizes 35 to 48.
Thanks to the innovative Boa® closure system, the shoe can be quickly and easily adjusted, while the EVA/Nitrile outsole is slip-resistant and non-marking to ensure maximum safety. The insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements of DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, making the shoe also suitable for orthopedic adjustments.
With a certification according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC ESD and DIN EN 61340-5-1, the Sam ESD safety shoe is ideal for work environments where electrostatic discharges may pose a risk. The weight of the shoe in size 42 is approximately 510 g, which, combined with a standard width of 11, ensures high wearing comfort. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
