The Ada ESD safety boot from Bata combines high safety standards with comfort and style. This model is specifically designed for women and is available in sizes 35 to 42. The upper material is made of durable full-grain leather in an attractive green-gray shade. The safety features include an aluminum toe cap and a FlexGuard® plastic puncture-resistant midsole, which meet the standards DIN EN 61340-4-3 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC. Additionally, the TPU overcap offers extra protection for the shoe and foot. The EVA midsole along with the EVA/rubber outsole provides excellent cushioning and slip resistance (SRC). The lining made of mesh and microfiber polyester ensures breathability and wearing comfort. The insole is replaceable, and there is the option to use orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. The shoe is antistatic and equipped with a practical lace-up closure, making it ideal for professional everyday use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Odor Control / odor-inhibiting
Bata Industrials, together with scientists, has developed a completely eco-friendly solution for the elimination of odours: Odor Control. It is based on a completely natural plant extract. As a natural all-in-one solution, it reduces bacteria in the shoe by 99.9% and is even effective at temperatures of up to 240° C – for fresh feet all day long.
