The Bata OPEN Radiance ESD safety sandal combines functionality and comfort for professional use. The upper is made of durable textile, complemented by a plastic toe cap and a FlexGuard® plastic penetration protection, which together protect the foot from injuries. The mesh lining ensures breathability, while the EVA midsole and rubber outsole provide excellent cushioning and slip resistance. This sandal meets the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-4-3, making it ideal for work environments where electrostatic discharge is a risk. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Odor Control / odor-inhibiting
Bata Industrials, together with scientists, has developed a completely eco-friendly solution for the elimination of odours: Odor Control. It is based on a completely natural plant extract. As a natural all-in-one solution, it reduces bacteria in the shoe by 99.9% and is even effective at temperatures of up to 240° C – for fresh feet all day long.
