The Bata Florence ESD safety shoe combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. Made from high-quality full-grain leather in green and gray, this low shoe features a sturdy aluminum toe cap and a FlexGuard® plastic penetration guard. The ESD capability provides antistatic properties, certifying the shoe according to EN ISO 20345 HRO S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-4-3. The size availability ranges from 34 to 42, ensuring a wide fit. The mesh lining and EVA midsole offer additional comfort, while the slip-resistant SRC rubber outsole ensures optimal traction. The shoe features a lace-up closure and is specifically designed for women, with a weight starting at 501 grams for size 42. Additional requirements such as penetration protection, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel area, and heat resistance up to 300°C are also met.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Odor Control / odor-inhibiting
Bata Industrials, together with scientists, has developed a completely eco-friendly solution for the elimination of odours: Odor Control. It is based on a completely natural plant extract. As a natural all-in-one solution, it reduces bacteria in the shoe by 99.9% and is even effective at temperatures of up to 240° C – for fresh feet all day long.
