Safety shoe VD Pro 1460 ESD
The Steitz Secura VD Pro 1460 ESD safety shoe combines high safety standards with comfort and aesthetics. This unisex low shoe is available in sizes 36 to 47 and features an appealing black and red design. It includes an aluminum toe cap and meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 SRC standard, making it particularly slip-resistant.
The surface made of ultra-light microfiber with perforation ensures breathability, while the functional lining and genuine leather insole offer excellent moisture absorption. The TPU Athletic ESD outsole not only provides outstanding cushioning but also electrostatic discharge capability. Additional comfort is provided by the ERGO-SOFT ESD insole, which can also be orthopedically adapted (DGUV 112-191).
The model is characterized by a standard width (NB), with the option for special widths. The shoe weighs approximately 511 g in size 42. The lace-up closure completes the functional design and offers individual adjustment options. Ideal for professional fields that require both safety and comfort.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
SECURA VARIO® System

A perfect extension of Steitz Secura's exclusive back vitality system for certain shoe configurations is the VARIO MULTIFLEX® technology. A continuously foamed midsole with a special soft bedding provides further effective cushioning properties in the forefoot area. Muscle tension is optimally reduced, load peaks are avoided with every step and forefoot problems are prevented from the outset.
