The ESD safety shoe Cycling black/red by FTG combines high safety standards with a sporty design. This low shoe from the Sport Line series is available in sizes 38 to 47 and features an upper made of Stretch Tex, which, along with the padded collar, ensures optimal wearing comfort. The plastic toe cap and the metal-free penetration guard offer reliable protection, while the anatomical, antibacterial insole and the 2-density PU outsole with SRC slip resistance increase safety at the workplace. The shoe is certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 and DIN EN 61340-5-1, oil, acid, and petrol resistant, as well as antistatic. The insole is replaceable and complies with DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic inserts. The polyester lining and the light weight of 530 g in size 42 make it an ideal companion for long workdays. The Boa® closure allows for quick and precise adjustment of the shoe.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
