The ESD safety shoe Sniper gray/yellow Red 360, manufactured by U-Power, combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This unisex low-cut shoe is available in sizes 35-48 and features a breathable suede upper with nylon inserts. The perforated aluminum toe cap and metal-free penetration protection offer optimal protection, while the PU/PU outsole is not only oil-resistant and slip-resistant (SRC), but also has antistatic properties. The footbed features a core made of Infinergy® from BASF, which provides additional energy while walking and is replaceable. The insoles meet the standards DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, making them suitable for orthopedic adjustments. The shoe meets the safety standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC, making it an excellent choice for various work environments. The lace closure allows for a custom fit, and the lightweight (starting at 501 grams for size 42) contributes to a comfortable wearing experience, even during long workdays.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
Save and Flex plus
The exclusive puncture-resistant "no metal" insole is lighter than traditional steel, more flexible and safer. It is connected directly to the shaft and guarantees 100% penetration resistance.
U-POWER uses only the high-quality, puncture-resistant "Save & Flex" PLUS insole for all of its own products, the pressure load of which is far higher than required by the current standard.
Insole WOW
The WOW insole with an anatomical structure is made of a soft, dynamic material compound from BASF with an excellent self-sculpting property that evenly distributes body weight over the entire sole of the foot. This means more comfort and a long-lasting sense of well-being.
