The safety sandal Flash 1605 S1P ESD in size 49, manufactured by Atlas, is specifically designed for demanding work environments. This unisex sandal features a breathable mesh upper and an aluminum toe cap for optimal toe protection. The sole is made according to the MPU® INNOFLEX SYSTEM® and provides excellent insole support through the 3D cushioning system. The sandal is ESD capable and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC, making it particularly suitable for electrostatically sensitive work areas. The outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant as well as antistatic and slip-resistant (SRC). The puncture protection is metal-free, which provides additional safety. The Velcro closure allows for quick putting on and taking off. Additionally, the insole is replaceable and meets orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191. The safety sandal is available in classic black and offers pleasant foot climate control through the integrated Clima-Zone and the activ-X functional lining.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
