Safety sandal GX160 ESD
The Atlas GX160 ESD safety sandal combines advanced protective features with high comfort for professional use. Equipped with a robust steel toe cap and an aluminum toe cap, this sandal meets Safety Class S1 and is certified according to EN ISO 20345 and DIN EN 61340-5-1. The mesh upper with integrated Clima-Zone ensures optimal ventilation and comfort.
The MPU® Light sole technology offers excellent support and stability through the 3D cushioning system. The outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant as well as antistatic and slip-resistant (SRC). For additional comfort, there is a practical Velcro fastener and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. The sandal is available in sizes 35 to 43 and in the colors blue and pink, with a replaceable insole that allows for individual adjustments. Ideal for use in areas that require the highest safety standards.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Cushioning system
The 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free running. The basis for this outstanding comfort is formed by the three components: Pressure relief. Damping. Dynamics. The perfect interaction of all components prevents back and joint problems and also relieves noticeably sensitive pain and pressure points.
aktiv-X functional lining
Especially in everyday work, with high physical stress, temperature-regulating properties are indispensable. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. It does not stain, is skin-friendly, abrasion-resistant and extremely breathable. In addition, it has been tested according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
clima-stream®
Clima-stream® maximizes breathability, balances moisture inside the shoe and optimally regulates the ambient temperature. The high-quality, particularly breathable upper material, the thermoregulating inner lining and the Klima Komfort® insole ensure a unique wearing comfort. The feet are always at a pleasant temperature and feel comfortable even under great physical exertion.
