The Atlas Runner 65 ESD safety shoe offers optimal protection and comfort for industrial work environments. This low shoe is made from 100% woven, seamless textile and features a very comfortable, elastic Light Knit structure. Equipped with a steel toe cap and steel penetration protection, the model meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC, making it oil, acid, and petrol resistant as well as antistatic. The ESD equipment protects against electrostatic discharges, and the activ-X functional lining ensures a pleasant foot climate. The 3D cushioning system supports the provision of insoles and offers additional comfort. The replaceable insole and the option to use orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 make this shoe particularly versatile. Available in Stone Grey and in sizes 36 to 48, the shoe is suitable for both men and women. The lace-up closure allows for a custom fit, while the light weight starting from 501 grams in size 42 makes daily work easier.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Cushioning system
The 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free running. The basis for this outstanding comfort is formed by the three components: Pressure relief. Damping. Dynamics. The perfect interaction of all components prevents back and joint problems and also relieves noticeably sensitive pain and pressure points.
aktiv-X functional lining
Especially in everyday work, with high physical stress, temperature-regulating properties are indispensable. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. It does not stain, is skin-friendly, abrasion-resistant and extremely breathable. In addition, it has been tested according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
clima-stream®
Clima-stream® maximizes breathability, balances moisture inside the shoe and optimally regulates the ambient temperature. The high-quality, particularly breathable upper material, the thermoregulating inner lining and the Klima Komfort® insole ensure a unique wearing comfort. The feet are always at a pleasant temperature and feel comfortable even under great physical exertion.
