Safety shoe SL40 2.0 BLUE S1 ESD
The safety shoe SL40 2.0 BLUE S1 ESD by Atlas combines advanced protection features with high wearing comfort and modern design. This model in size 49 comes in an attractive black-blue color and is made from high-quality SPORTLINE upper material, known for its durability and breathability. The integrated alu-tec® aluminum cap and carbon fiber reinforced toe protection offer optimal protection for the toes, while the clima-stream® concept ensures a comfortable foot climate.
The sole of the shoe is part of the MPU® INNOFLEX SYSTEM and provides excellent slip resistance according to SRC standard, as well as resistance to oil, acid, and gasoline. The 3D cushioning system guarantees effective shock absorption and increases wearing comfort. Orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 are possible for individual adjustments, and the shoe is also ESD-equipped to prevent electrostatic discharges.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Cushioning system
The 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free running. The basis for this outstanding comfort is formed by the three components: Pressure relief. Damping. Dynamics. The perfect interaction of all components prevents back and joint problems and also relieves noticeably sensitive pain and pressure points.

Especially in everyday work, with high physical stress, temperature-regulating properties are indispensable. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. It does not stain, is skin-friendly, abrasion-resistant and extremely breathable. In addition, it has been tested according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
clima-stream®
Clima-stream® maximizes breathability, balances moisture inside the shoe and optimally regulates the ambient temperature. The high-quality, particularly breathable upper material, the thermoregulating inner lining and the Klima Komfort® insole ensure a unique wearing comfort. The feet are always at a pleasant temperature and feel comfortable even under great physical exertion.
