Safety shoe SL40 2.0 BLUE S1 ESD
The safety shoe SL40 2.0 BLUE S1 ESD from Atlas combines advanced protective features with high wearing comfort and is specifically designed for use in ESD-sensitive areas. This model, available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color combination Black/Blue, features an ALU-TEC aluminum toe cap that provides robust protection without increasing weight. The perforated SPORTLINE upper material, together with the activ-x functional lining and the clima-stream® concept, ensures optimal ventilation and a comfortable foot climate.
The MPU® INNOFLEX SYSTEM sole offers excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is also oil, acid, and gasoline resistant. The integrated 3D cushioning system ensures effective shock absorption and increased comfort. The shoe is suitable for orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and allows for individual customization. Additionally, special widths are available on request, with the standard width being 10. The shoe comes with a practical lace-up closure that ensures an optimal fit and secure hold.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
3D Cushioning system
The 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free running. The basis for this outstanding comfort is formed by the three components: Pressure relief. Damping. Dynamics. The perfect interaction of all components prevents back and joint problems and also relieves noticeably sensitive pain and pressure points.
aktiv-X functional lining
Especially in everyday work, with high physical stress, temperature-regulating properties are indispensable. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. It does not stain, is skin-friendly, abrasion-resistant and extremely breathable. In addition, it has been tested according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
clima-stream®
Clima-stream® maximizes breathability, balances moisture inside the shoe and optimally regulates the ambient temperature. The high-quality, particularly breathable upper material, the thermoregulating inner lining and the Klima Komfort® insole ensure a unique wearing comfort. The feet are always at a pleasant temperature and feel comfortable even under great physical exertion.
