The safety shoe SL9405 2.0 XP® BOA® S1P ESD from Atlas combines advanced protective features with high comfort for professional use. This half shoe in black/blue, size 49, is characterized by its perforated SPORTLINE upper material and the activ-X functional lining, which ensures optimal breathability. The innovative ALU-TEC aluminum toe cap and carbon fiber reinforced toe protection offer robust toe safety, while the metal-free XP® penetration resistance provides additional security. The MPU® INNOFLEX SYSTEM® sole of the model not only guarantees slip resistance according to SRC standard but is also oil, acid, and gasoline resistant. The integrated 3D cushioning system significantly improves walking comfort. Particularly noteworthy is the Boa® closure system, which allows for quick and precise shoe adjustment. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
