The Kapton adhesive dots with a diameter of 14 mm are specifically designed for use under high temperatures. These adhesive dots are made from a high-temperature resistant polyimide film and are equipped with a silicone adhesive that ensures excellent adhesion. The thickness of the adhesive dots, including adhesive, is about 0.070 mm.
The adhesive dots meet the requirements of thermal class H with a continuous heat resistance of 180°C and can withstand temperatures of up to 240°C for the duration of 10 minutes. Under short-term load, they can even withstand temperatures of up to 260°C.
The brown-transparent coloring of the film provides for discreet application. Each roll contains 1,000 double-row arranged adhesive dots, which are ideal as solder masking dots. These technical specifications make the Kapton adhesive dots a reliable choice for applications where robustness against high temperatures is required.
