The AeroBar 5225S Ionizing Bar from Simco, with an active length of 1626 mm and a total length of 1636 mm, is specifically designed for use in cleanrooms, meeting the strict purity standards of ISO 14644-1 Class 1. This high-precision device offers effective neutralization of static charges through its digital adjustment capability and the use of single-crystal silicon or titanium emitters, which is particularly important in the semiconductor industry and other sensitive areas.
With a width of 31 mm and a height of 53 mm, the bar weighs only 1.02 kg and can be easily integrated due to its compact dimensions. The emitters are replaceable, which simplifies maintenance and ensures a long lifespan. The ionizing bar can operate in both DC ionization mode and pulsed mode, depending on the specific requirements of the application.
The setting of ion output levels is done via a separate IR remote control (Model 7500.AB.R) or via software, allowing for flexible and precise control. The device offers an ion balance of +/- 10 V and is designed for an ambient temperature of 15 to 35 °C. The power supply is 24 volts DC, and up to six of these bars can be powered by a single transformer.
