minION2 - Portable Ionizer
The Simco-Ion minION 2 is a highly advanced mobile ionizing device specifically designed for use in sensitive environments such as electronics assembly and semiconductor manufacturing. With its compact dimensions of 98 x 136 x 60 mm, it fits perfectly on workstations or can be used as a portable device. The device is characterized by efficient static control, which is ensured by the self-balancing of the offset voltage of ± 10 V, making manual adjustment unnecessary.
The rapid discharge performance of the minION 2 reduces static charges and contributes to the safety and functionality of devices. A modular wiring system allows for the chaining of up to three of these devices to achieve comprehensive ionization coverage. Local LED indicators and relay contacts act as alarm systems for fault detection. The device is designed for operation with 24 VDC or with standard power supplies that can be adapted to different regional requirements (e.g., 100/120 V or 230 V).
The ionization range extends over 300 x 1200 mm, and the ozone production is a maximum of 0.005 ppm at a distance of 15 cm. Thanks to compliance with ISO 7 (Cleanroom Class 10000), the minION 2 is also suitable for use in cleanrooms. This device represents a reliable solution for controlling electrostatic discharges and is valued for its versatility and performance in demanding industrial environments.
