minION2 - Portable Ionizer
The Simco-Ion minION 2 is an innovative, mobile benchtop ionizing blower, specifically designed for use in sensitive environments such as electronics assembly and semiconductor manufacturing. With compact dimensions of 98 x 136 x 60 mm, this device allows for flexible installation, whether at workstations or as a portable unit.
Equipped with a two-stage blower that includes an off switch, the device provides effective static control. The self-balancing offset voltage of ± 10 V ensures a constant ion output without manual readjustment. The fast discharge performance helps to effectively reduce static charges, enhancing safety and functionality in production.
The modular wiring system supports the chaining of up to three devices, achieving a broader ionization coverage of 300 x 1200 mm. Additionally, the device is equipped with alarm systems that detect errors through local LED indicators and relay contacts. The ozone generation remains safely within limits, with a maximum of 0.005 ppm (at a distance of 15 cm).
The minION 2 can be operated with a 24 VDC supply as well as standardized power supplies tailored to various regional requirements. It meets the requirements for use in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms (Class 10000 cleanroom).
