The EPAchair® Comfort 5000 ESD swivel chair, manufactured by DPV, combines advanced design with functional features that make it ideal for electrostatically protected work environments. The Comfort 5000 has a dissipative backrest shell and seat shell. The upholstery and castors are also dissipative. It also has an ESD marking and is ESD-compliant in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is suitable for use in electrostatically protected areas.
Durable upholstery and covers
The durable upholstery made of certified polyurethane foam with a density of up to 34 kg/m³ is characterized by its dimensional stability. The cover fabric is highly durable, breathable and conductive.

1. Asynchronous technology
The angle of inclination of the backrest and seat can be adjusted independently of each other so that the desired sitting posture can be set individually. The chair supports active and dynamic sitting by alternating between an upright and reclined posture.
2. Adjustable backrest with permanent contact
The height of the backrest can be adjusted to suit the user's height. This ensures optimum support for the back, especially in the lumbar region. The permanent contact backrest enables permanent contact between the backrest and back, even when the sitting position changes frequently. This ensures that the back is always optimally supported.
3. Adjustable seat height
The seat height can be adjusted to suit individual body height, ensuring an ergonomic sitting posture.
4. Adjustable seat tilt
The tilt of the seat can be adjusted to suit different requirements. This promotes an ergonomic posture when working in a slightly raised position and leaning forwards.
5. Adjustable seat depth
The seat depth can be adjusted to suit the user's height, providing optimum support for the thighs. This relieves back strain as the contact between the backrest and back is maintained.
6. Weight regulation
The seat tilt pressure can be individually adjusted to the body weight, enabling a dynamic sitting posture. The adjustment is made simply using a rotary knob.
