The intermediate layer PP from EPAstore, manufactured by DPV, combines functionality with technical sophistication. This product is made from extruded polypropylene (PP) with an incorporated 3 mm thick PE foam insert, utilizing the properties of a hollow chamber material with high abrasion resistance. The surface is black and volume conductive, with a surface resistance of 10^6 Ω, confirming compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The dimensions of the intermediate layer are 353 mm in length and 253 mm in width with a thickness of 6.0 mm and a weight of 600 g/m². Particularly practical are the integrated type D (standard) grip cutouts, which facilitate removal from Euro containers sized 400x300 mm. The product is also available in other versions with different grip cutouts, providing additional handling options.
This intermediate layer is ideal for applications where both protection and ESD safety are required. It offers a reliable solution for protecting sensitive components in technical environments.
