The PE foam offered here, measuring 253x153x3 mm, is made from high-quality polyethylene and is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability. With a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and an operating temperature of up to 90 °C, this foam provides a robust and durable solution for various applications. The black color and the closed-cell, cross-linked structure ensure an abrasion-resistant and corrosion-free condition.
This foam is ideally suited as an insert foam, interlayers for containers, baffle walls for containers, as well as a workstation pad, always meeting the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. The typical surface resistance varies depending on the side: on the skin side, it ranges between 10^5 and 10^6 Ohm, while the side without skin shows a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm.
Whether in industrial settings or for electrotechnical applications, this PE foam represents a reliable option to protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharge.
