The Wiha PicoFinish® ESD TORX Screwdriver TX 08 is a specially designed tool that is distinguished by its electrostatic discharge capability, thereby protecting electronic components from damage. With a blade length of 40 mm and a total length of 140 mm, this screwdriver offers an optimal balance between precision and control. The ergonomically designed multi-component handle with a soft grip zone allows for sensitive work and controlled power transmission. The extra-long turning cap supports precise guidance, which facilitates handling and increases work efficiency.
The screwdriver meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is equipped with a shaft diameter of 2.5 mm and a handle diameter of 18 mm. The light weight of only 16 g makes the screwdriver ideal for fine and delicate applications in electronics and precision mechanics.

Precision and protection for sensitive electronic components

The challenge when working on electronic components is that they can be damaged by even the slightest voltage. With the electrostatically dissipative PicoFinish® ESD Torx® fine screwdrivers, this task is easily mastered. Thanks to their long, slim handles and the fast-turning zone, the precision screwdrivers are ideal for precise and sensitive work on delicate workpieces. The ergonomic handle design with soft zone enables comfortable working. Sensitive and fast turning is supported by the smooth-running turning cap. The screwdriver symbols printed on the rotating cap also make it easier to select the correct screwdriver profile. The dissipative tool dissipates electrostatic energy safely and in a controlled manner. The ESD fine screwdrivers are manufactured in accordance with the international standard IEC 61340-5-1 and therefore guarantee maximum protection for electronic components. The screwdrivers have a surface resistance of 10⁶ - 10⁹ Ohm.
