The Phillips interchangeable slimBit 2831 VDE PH1 from Wiha is an advanced solution for electricians that facilitates access to hard-to-reach screws. This product is distinguished by innovative slimTECHNOLOGY, which integrates the protective insulation directly into the blade. As a result, the blades are up to 33% slimmer than conventional models and enable reaching deep-set screw and spring elements without removing the insulation and compromising safety.The blade features a Phillips cross-slot type PH1, a shaft diameter of 6.0 mm, and a length of 75 mm. It is designed for use with the slimTorque VDE bit holder and withstands a maximum torque of 3.8 Nm. The weight is only 8 g.
Each of these tools is tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and is approved for working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. The slimBits can only be used in the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder, which not only saves space but also enhances your safety by providing protected access to deep-set screws.
