The Phillips interchangeable blade 2879 PH 2 from Wiha is specifically designed for use in the electrical field and allows for improved access to deeply set screws thanks to the innovative slimTECHNOLOGY. This technology integrates the protective insulation directly into the blade, making it up to 33% slimmer than traditional models. The blade is tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and is safe for working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.With a length of 175 mm and a shaft diameter of 4.0 mm, the blade offers precise handling. The maximum torque is 5.5 Nm, which is sufficient for most assembly tasks. The PH2 cross slot tip is ideal for common screw applications. Additionally, the blade is ESD-safe and easily identifiable by its blue color coding. The weight of only 18 g ensures fatigue-free handling.
Wiha's extensive interchangeable bit system, which includes this blade, not only saves space but also ensures good and protected access to hard-to-reach screws. Each tool is individually tested at 10,000 V AC, thus guaranteeing the highest safety during use.
