The Desco Mini Monitor is an advanced monitoring device for individual workstations, specifically designed for continuous monitoring of the path-to-ground integrity of an operator and an ESD work surface. With its Wave Distortion Technology, this device ensures stable and continuous monitoring of grounding as well as the 1-megohm resistance of the operator's wrist. Optical and acoustic alarms, which respond in less than 50 milliseconds, signal a disruption or failure of the connection.
The monitor offers additional features such as an illuminated enclosure status in various colors to indicate the operating state and a parking delay timer that allows the wrist cable to be parked without false alarms. A special switch disables the monitoring of the work surface in areas without ESD protection. The settings of the acoustic alarm can be adjusted, and the unit is equipped with a single-wire impedance design that complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20.
Technically, the Mini Monitor supports voltages from 100 to 240 V and a test voltage of 9 V, which minimizes the risk of electrical overload. With a height of 21 mm, a diameter of 63 mm, and a weight of 44 g, the monitor is compact and lightweight. It operates optimally in an environment with an operating temperature of 10 to 35 °C and a humidity of up to 80%.
