ESD Pro CTM082

The ESD Pro CTM082 is a sophisticated, portable device for displaying and analyzing ESD events. It is used to measure the relative strength of electrostatic discharges (ESD) and to document the frequency of limit exceedances. Thanks to its versatility, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, including ESD audits, diagnostics, tool qualifications, and EMI diagnostics.
The device features adjustable sensitivity from 1 to 1000 V and can detect both positive and negative discharges. It has a 4-digit event counter and displays the extent of events via an LED bar, complemented by acoustic signals during ESD events. EMI event rejection is handled through a selectable CDM mode, which allows ignoring non-ESD-related electromagnetic interference.
The ESD Pro CTM082 measures 120 x 65 x 23 mm without an antenna and 173 x 65 x 23 mm with an antenna. It is powered by a 9 V alkaline battery, ensuring excellent mobility and ease of handling. This patent-pending system is ideal for environments where ESD and EMI events are frequent, such as when using IC handlers or SMT placement machines.
