The KNIPEX Alligator water pump pliers are distinguished by their robust construction made from chrome vanadium electric steel, making them particularly suitable for outdoor work. With a length of 180 mm and a weight of 180 g, this tool is compact yet powerful. Thanks to its slim design in the head and joint area, the pliers provide good access to the workpiece and, with the 9-position adjustment, offer a 30% increased gripping capacity compared to traditional models of the same length.
The specially hardened gripping surfaces with a hardness of 61 HRC ensure permanently safe gripping and high wear resistance. A box-joint design guarantees high stability through double guidance. The self-locking function on pipes and nuts prevents slipping on the workpiece and allows for work-saving operation. Additionally, an integrated pinch guard protects against crush injuries.
The pliers are suitable for nuts up to a diameter of 36 mm and pipes up to 1 1/2 inches, and measure 38 mm in width and 12 mm in height.
