The Hektor 2 depaneling tool from CAB enables quick and gentle separation of routed PCB panels. This efficient device features a two-part die that allows for the easy swapping of blades of various widths. Equipped with a pneumatic cylinder, the punching of the tabs is precise, with the operating pressure adjustable directly on the device. The punching process is conveniently triggered by a foot pedal, and the punched-out waste is collected in an integrated container.
The blades, made of special steel, are available in five standard widths as well as custom intermediate sizes. The blade width should always be at least 0.15 mm narrower than the milling slot to prevent jamming. Special L-blades are suitable for small tab distances, while T-blades allow punching at the edges of the circuit board without rotation.
The Hektor 2 measures 220 mm in width, 170 mm in height, and 255 mm in depth, with a weight of 2.7 kg. It operates optimally at a temperature range of 10 - 35 °C and a humidity range of 10 - 85%. The package includes the Hektor 2 with pressure regulator and foot pedal, but does not include blades.
