If the scoring groove is traversed once, sensitive components located close to the scoring groove can be damaged by tensile and compressive stresses. Passing over the scribe groove twice with motorized adjustment of the blade distance minimizes the stresses considerably. The quality of the assembled PCBs is significantly improved.
The pre-scored groove can be interrupted by cut-outs.
For protruding parts the linear blade must be recessed.

Measuring device
For stress-free cutting and a long service life, the roller and linear knives must be guided precisely over the entire cutting length. The measuring device is mounted on the carriage to set and regularly check the parallelism.
