The Diagonal Cutters 7712115 ESD from the Knipex "Standard" series are specifically designed for precision cutting tasks in fields such as electronics and precision mechanics. This tool combines a robust, load-optimized construction with a riveted, play-free joint and slim sleeves that allow precise gripping. The high leverage of the diagonal cutters reduces the required force, while the load-optimized design provides a more direct working feel. A low-friction double spring and the mirror polish with a fine oil film ensure smooth opening and excellent rust protection. The laser-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 62 HRC, a round head with a small bevel, and an integrated wire clamp prevent the uncontrolled flying off of cut wire pieces. All parts are electrically conductive – dissipative ESD. The cutting pliers of the Knipex standard series are equipped with precision-ground cutting edges for finest cutting work, e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics.
