Diagonal cutting pliers 7722115 ESD

The KNIPEX 7722115 ESD diagonal cutter is distinguished by its robust, load-optimized construction with a riveted and play-free joint. The slender shape of the handles extending to the head of the pliers allows for fine and comfortable gripping between the thumb and forefinger, while the high transmission ratio requires minimal effort.
The load-optimized design provides a more direct working sensation. A low-friction double spring ensures smooth and even opening. The mirror polish combined with a fine oil film effectively protects against rust without causing disruptions in the circuit due to flaking chrome parts. The cutting edges are additionally laser-hardened, achieving a hardness of about 62 HRC.
Technically, the diagonal cutter has a length of 115 mm, a width of 69 mm, and a height of 16 mm, with a weight of 70 g. It is made of high-quality tool steel, mirror-polished, and has a round head shape without a bevel. The maximum diameter for soft materials is 1.29 mm and for medium-hard materials is 1.02 mm. ESD safety is assured, making it ideal for electrostatically sensitive work areas.

The cutting pliers of the Knipex standard series are equipped with precision-ground cutting edges for finest cutting work, e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics. A low-friction double spring ensures a smooth and even opening. The mirror polish combined with a fine oil film offers a good rust protection so that errors in circuits by flaking chrome parts are prevented.
