The KNIPEX 7942125 Z ESD side cutter is specifically designed for precise cutting tasks in electronics and fine mechanics. This high-quality tool features electrically conductive handles that are dissipative, thus providing safety when working with sensitive electronic components. The cutting edges are very precisely ground and sharp, with small facets for exact cuts or without a facet for flush cutting.The cutting edges of this side cutter are additionally induction-hardened and achieve a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, which guarantees a long service life and sustained sharpness. Despite its robustness, the tool weighs about 20% less than conventional electronic pliers, which facilitates handling. The screwed joint and the smooth double spring ensure even and low-friction movement.
The ergonomically optimized multi-component sleeves offer additional comfort and control. With a length of 125 mm and a weight of only 58 g, this side cutter is ideal for working in places with tight tolerances. The head shape is pointed, and the surface of the steel-made tool is both polished and burnished, contributing to its durability and efficiency.
