The KNIPEX 7952125 ESD side cutter is a high-precision plier, specifically designed for the finest cutting tasks in electronics and precision mechanics. This tool features electrically conductive, dissipative handles and a pointed head that allows for precise cuts without uncontrolled jumping of the wire sections, thanks to an integrated wire clamp. The cutting edges of the side cutter are very precisely ground and have small facets as well as inductive hardening, achieving a cutting hardness of about 64 HRC. This allows for precise cuts on sensitive components and offers the option for flush cutting without a facet. Despite its robustness, the side cutter weighs about 20% less than conventional electronic pliers. The technical specifications include a mini-bevel, a length of 125 mm, a head width and thickness of 11 mm and 6.5 mm respectively, and a weight of only 58 g. The material consists of polished, burnished steel, which ensures durable and reliable use. Ergonomically optimized multi-component casings and an easy-to-move double spring facilitate handling and ensure smooth opening of the pliers. This makes the 7952125 ESD side cutter an indispensable tool for professional electronics and precision mechanics work.
The Knipex "Profi" series for highest requirements concerning efficiency and performance. The precision cutting pliers have precision-ground, sharp cutting edges for the use e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics, with a small bevel or without bevel for precise cuts on sensitive electronic components. A low-friction double spring ensures a smooth and even opening. Forged of high-quality chrome-vanadium ball bearing steel with glare-free finish and low weight. All versions are electrically dissipative
Knipex pliers comply with the highest requirements concerning performance, ergonomics, and service life.
Due to a special selection of the used steels and the careful and high-quality processing, the Knipex pliers achieve an optimal durability and service life. Innovative ideas always offer forward-looking solutions for an easy, effective and safe working.
The cutting shapes and cutting performance:
With mini bevel (facet) Nearly flush cut. Fine cutting edges. Suitable for soft steel wire, copper wire and cable.
With small bevel (facet) Normal cut. Suitable for cutting hard and soft steel wires as well as soft materials such as copper wire and cable.
With large bevel (facet) Suitable for cutting hard and very hard steel wires. Long service life.
Without bevel (facet) Flush cut. Extremely sharp cutting edges. Only suitable for soft steel wires, copper wire and cable.
Without bevel flush (facet) Flush cut for soft materials.
Electrostatic Discharge - marking for materials intended to protect other components from ESD by avoiding potential differences.
Mini bevel
Almost flush cut with fine cutting edges. Slightly shock-reduced cut, the cut leaves only a very small point at the end of the wire. Can be used for soft steel wires and copper wires.
