ESD Diagonal cutting pliers Slim 5140
The ESD side cutter Slim 5140 from ideal-tek is a high-precision tool, specifically designed for use in areas sensitive to electrostatic discharges. This side cutter belongs to the family of small oval cutters and is distinguished by its robust construction with a head width of only 10 mm and a head thickness of 6.4 mm, which facilitates access to hard-to-reach areas.The semi-flush cutting edge of the tool is ideal for robust cuts, while the blades made of hardened steel with a hardness of 67 HRC ensure high durability and precision. The total length of the side cutter is 120 mm and the weight is 82 g, which allows for easy handling.
The handles are equipped with ESD Ergo-Tek Slim technology and are made of a combination of PP and TPE, which not only provides a secure grip but also ensures electrostatic discharge capability. The cutter can cut materials up to a maximum hardness of 0.6 mm (hard), 1.02 mm (medium), and 1.15 mm (soft) and is suitable for wire sizes from AWG 48-23 (hard), AWG 38-18 (medium) to AWG 32-17 (soft).
The surface of the tool is sandblasted, which additionally contributes to its durability and completes the overall design.
