The ESD diagonal cutter 5141 from ideal-tek represents a high-precision tool from the series of small oval cutters. With a head width of only 10 mm and a jaw length of 9 mm, this model allows access to hard-to-reach, small areas. The flush cutting edge of the 5141 is specially designed to ensure clean cuts with certain tolerance, making it particularly suitable for fine work processes. Equipped with an ESD Ergo-Tek handle, the diagonal cutter not only offers excellent grip but is also ideal for environments where electrostatic discharge poses a risk. The blades, hardened to a hardness of 67 HRC, promise durability and exceptional cutting performance. With an overall length of 125 mm and a weight of 82 g, this tool is both lightweight and handy. The handle material is made from a combination of PP and TPE, while the sandblasted steel surface provides additional robustness. The diagonal cutter can cut wires up to a maximum diameter of 1.15 mm (soft) and 1.02 mm (medium), according to the AWG standards of 38-17 (soft) and 38-18 (medium).
The ideal-tek ERGO-TEK diagonal cutting pliers series stands for highest requirements for precision and performance. The tools have precision ground, sharp cutting edges for the use e.g. in electronics and fine mechanics. Versions with normal bevel, small bevel or without bevel for precise cuts on sensitive electronic components. A friction-less double spring ensures a smooth and soft opening. The two-component handles are ergonomically shaped and offer best gripping and comfortable working. The diagonal cutting pliers are forged of a high-quality chrome-vanadium ball bearing steel. All versions are electrically dissipative
ideal-tek pliers stand for quality with the highest requirements of precision, ergonomics and durability.
The cutting shapes and cutting performance:
With bevel (facet) Normal cut. Suitable for cutting hard and soft steel wires as well as soft materials such as copper wire and cable.
With large bevel (facet) Suitable for cutting hard and very hard steel wires. Long service life.
Without bevel flush (facet) Flush cut for soft materials.
ERGO-TEK
The pliers of the ERGO-TEK series have a modified ergonomic handle. This adapts optimally to the hand which has a positive effect on the user especially in case of long, intensive and powerful working processes.
ERGO-TEK SLIM
In consideration of anatomic differences the new, lightweight ERGO-TEK SLIM series has been designed for small hands - providing the same ergonomics, ESD safety and technical advantages that have always characterized ideal-tek
