The ESD side cutter 5160 from ideal-tek is a precise cutting tool specifically developed for demanding applications. This plier belongs to the series of extra-large oval cutters, which ensure excellent cutting performance due to their robust geometry and optimized head dimensions. With a semi-flush cutting edge, this model is ideal for robust cuts.The blades of the side cutter are hardened to a hardness of 67 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness and extraordinary cutting capability. The ergonomically shaped ESD Ergo-Tek handle provides excellent grip and protects against electrostatic discharges, enabling use in sensitive environments.
Technical details include a head width of 16 mm and a jaw length of 13 mm. The side cutter can precisely cut materials up to a diameter of 3.0 mm (soft), 2.5 mm (medium), and 1.1 mm (hard).
