The ESD side cutter 5342 from ideal-tek is a high-precision cutting tool, specifically designed for access to tight areas. This model is distinguished by its small, conical head shape with a head width of 10 mm and a jaw length of 9 mm, which allows for precise cuts in confined work environments. The fully flush cutting edge of the side cutter is ideal for extremely clean cuts on small material, with the blades having a hardness of 67 HRC, ensuring extraordinary durability and cutting precision.The 5342 is equipped with an ESD Ergo-Tek handle, made from PP and TPE, offering a secure grip, ideal for environments prone to electrostatic discharges. With an overall length of 125 mm and a weight of 81 g, this side cutter is both robust and handy. The surface of the tool is sandblasted, promising additional durability.
The side cutter can cut soft material up to a diameter of 1.02 mm and medium material up to 0.91 mm, according to the AWG standards of 38-18 for soft and 38-19 for medium material.
