The diagonal cutter 3778 from CK combines advanced technology with ergonomic design for professional requirements. Made from special alloyed steel that is drop-forged, hardened, and tempered, this tool offers exceptional strength and durability. The induction-hardened jaws ensure long-lasting performance, while the high-gloss polished surface provides optimal corrosion protection and eliminates the risk of chrome detachment.A precise riveted joint construction ensures permanent, maintenance-free alignment of the jaws. The ergonomically shaped dual-component handles increase comfort and control during handling. Additionally, the diagonal cutter is fully ESD compliant and meets the standards IEC 61340 5.1 and 5.7, making it ideal for working on sensitive electronic components.
The pliers measure a total length of 125 mm with a jaw length of 9 mm and a head width of 11 mm. It is specifically designed for cutting soft materials such as copper wire and cables, but can also be used on medium and hard materials. The maximum cutting capacity is 1.63 mm for soft, 1.29 mm for medium, and 0.32 mm for hard materials. The tool also features a spring opening for improved handling and efficiency with repeated cuts.
