The cutting edges are designed for universal use on hard and soft steel wires as well as soft materials like copper wire and cables. Additionally, the precision cutter features a patented opening system that integrates the springs invisibly, thereby minimizing the risk of injury and ensuring longevity. The ESD-safe standard handles meet MIL standards and offer a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 ohms.
Other technical specifications include a head shape that is extra small and angled, a maximum cutting capacity of 0.64 mm for soft and 0.4 mm for medium-hard materials. The overall length is 120 mm with a blade length of 2.54 mm. The non-reflective surface of the tool enhances work safety by avoiding glare. The optional wire holder additionally protects against injuries from detached cutting waste.
