The Weller Erem Distance Cutter 530E15A is a high-precision tool specifically designed for electronics manufacturing. This robust precision cutter offers a variable cutting length and is equipped with a protective stop screw to precisely and safely separate components on a circuit board. The integrated, double self-locking screw joints with a large range of motion minimize wear, while the patented opening system invisibly incorporates the springs, reducing the risk of injury and increasing the tool's durability.
The ESD-safe standard handles meet the MIL standard with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm. The innovative 'Stop! Stop system' prevents the blades from crossing over, thereby avoiding damage. Optionally, a wire holder is available that prevents the risk of eye injuries and the destruction of assemblies by uncontrolled cutting debris.
The cutter is made of high-quality tool steel, the cutting edges are hardened to Rockwell 63-65 HRc, and the surface is non-reflective and ESD-safe. The total length is 125 mm, with a jaw length and head width of 11 mm each. This tool is universally applicable to hard and very hard steel wires as well as soft materials like copper wire and cable, making it an indispensable tool in electronics manufacturing.
