The KNIPEX cable cutter, tested according to ISO 1000V and VDE standards, offers an efficient solution for cutting Cu and Al cables up to a diameter of 32 mm (240 mm²). This tool is characterized by its high gear ratio, which requires minimal effort, as well as a compact design that allows for easy handling even in tight spaces.
The cable cutter is not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes, and finely stranded conductors. It features hardened cutting edges with precision grinding that ensure smooth and clean cuts without crushing the material. Thanks to the ratchet principle and the two-speed planetary gear drive, cutting is possible with just one hand, while an integrated anti-pinch protection prevents pinch injuries.
The length of the pliers is 250 mm, and the material is made of painted tool steel. The head is designed as a ratchet, which additionally contributes to efficiency and handling.
