The KNIPEX side cutter ISO 1000V 160 mm combines high functionality with safety and quality. This VDE-tested tool is specifically designed for use in hard-to-reach areas, thanks to its slim head shape. The precision cutting edges allow for a clean cut in both soft and hard wire and are particularly effective on thin copper wires.
The cutting edges of this side cutter are additionally induction-hardened, ensuring a blade hardness of about 62 HRC and increasing the tool's durability. The overall length is 160 mm and the material is made of high-quality chrome-vanadium steel with a chrome-plated surface, which additionally contributes to its robustness.
The maximum cutting diameter varies depending on the hardness of the material: 4.0 mm for soft, 3.0 mm for medium-hard, and 2.0 mm for hard materials. This tool is tested according to VDE standards and guarantees safety up to 1000 volts, making it an essential component for professional electrical installations and other technical applications.
