The VDE-tested KNIPEX high-leverage diagonal cutter with a length of 160 mm is specially designed for the toughest, permanent use. This tool is characterized by its high cutting performance, which is achieved through the optimal coordination of cutting angle and transmission ratio with minimal effort. The precision cutting edges are additionally induction hardened and achieve a cutting hardness of about 64 HRC, making the diagonal cutter ideal for all types of wire, including piano wire.
Made of chrome vanadium electric steel and chrome-plated, the tool not only offers a robust surface but also durability. The straight head shape and the large bevel allow for precise cuts. The diagonal cutter can cut wires up to a diameter of 3.4 mm (medium), 2.5 mm (hard), and 2.0 mm (piano). Despite its robust construction, the tool is not ESD safe. This high-leverage diagonal cutter is an essential tool for professional applications where reliability and precision are required.
