The KNIPEX 180 mm ISO 1000V high-leverage diagonal cutter is designed for demanding and continuous use. This VDE-tested tool features a forged-on joint axle and high cutting performance, achieved through the optimal coordination of cutting angle and transmission ratio with minimal effort. The precision cutting edges are additionally induction hardened and achieve a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, making the diagonal cutter ideal for all types of wire, including piano wire.
The diagonal cutter is made of high-quality chrome-vanadium steel and has a chrome-plated surface that ensures durability and corrosion resistance. With a length of 180 mm and a straight head shape, the tool offers efficient handling. The maximum cutting capacity is 3.8 mm for medium-hard, 2.7 mm for hard, and 2.2 mm for piano wires. Despite its robust construction, the device is not ESD-safe, which should be considered when used in sensitive electronic environments.
