The ESD cross tweezers with interchangeable tip 2AXCFR.SA from ideal-tek are specifically designed for handling sensitive components in areas such as micromechanics and electronics assembly. This high-quality instrument made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide 66) offers increased mechanical strength and toughness as well as excellent wear and abrasion resistance due to the reinforcement with 30% carbon fiber. The tweezers are ESD-safe, making them ideal for use in ESD-sensitive environments.
The smooth gripping and handling surface ensures safe handling without damaging the components. The tips are straight, very fine, rounded, and flat, allowing for precise work. The cross tweezers feature interchangeable tips, allowing for flexible adaptation to various application conditions.
Technically, the tweezers can be used at temperatures up to 190°C for short periods and show a surface resistance of 102 Ω. They are heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and exhibit very low linear thermal expansion. Chemical resistance against oils, fats, fuels, and non-polar solvents is provided, however, the tool is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
The dimensions of the tweezers include a length of 130 mm and a tip length of 26 mm, with a weight of only 16 g.
