The ESD tweezer with interchangeable tip 2ABCFR.SA from ideal-tek offers a high-quality solution for handling sensitive components in areas such as micromechanics and electronics assembly. Made from a carbon fiber reinforced plastic, this tool provides excellent mechanical strength and is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use. The tweezer is characterized by its low friction, excellent wear and abrasion resistance, and very high stiffness. Additionally, it has excellent chemical resistance against oils, fats, and non-polar solvents, but is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, as well as hot water or steam.
The technical specifications include a short-term temperature resistance of up to 190°C and a surface resistance of 102 Ω. The tweezer is classified with a hardness of over 100 according to ASTM D 785. The interchangeable tips are made of robust plastic, which additionally contributes to ESD safety and scratch resistance. With a length of 130 mm and a tip length of 26 mm, the curved geometry of the tips enhances visibility and ergonomics during use. The weight of 18 g ensures easy handling.
