The ESD tweezer with plastic tip 248CF.SA by ideal-tek is a high-quality universal tweezer, specifically designed for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates. The tweezer is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted surface as well as a straight, smooth gripping and handling area. The tips are made of Polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, offering very high stiffness as well as excellent tensile and bending strength. This combination of materials also ensures excellent wear resistance and low friction.
The tweezer is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and can briefly withstand temperatures up to 190°C. The surface resistance is 102 Ω, making it ideal for electrostatically sensitive applications. However, it is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam. With a length of 130 mm and a weight of 21 g, this tool is both robust and handy.
Ideal for use in micromechanics and electronic assembly, where scratch-free handling is essential. This Swiss Made product represents a reliable solution in laboratories and in the assembly of electronic components.
